The Village of Wilmette Plan Commission will vote on the Optima Building on Tuesday August 20th. Is this what you want your Village to look like?

Part of Optima Two (Optima Lumina) will stand at 8 Stories tall. This is taller than any part of any other building on Green Bay Road. Optima seeks a variance to the Code which is 4 stories tall (52') (among many other variances). The building does not fit in with the Master and Comprehensive Plan. The building does not fit in with the historic nature and charm of our Village.

Write an email to the Village Leaders and tell them to oppose this development for something that fits in with our plans and our historic charm. Too Big, Too Modern, Not right for our Village
