Misericordia Women's Auxiliary The Auxiliary membership includes approximately 120 dynamic and dedicated women from the Gold Coast through the North Shore suburbs.

Since its founding in 1945, the Misericordia Women’s Auxiliary has raised over $15 million dollars to support the care of the Misericordia residents and outreach programming. In addition to volunteering at the Home, we host a variety of philanthropic events including Misericordia Loves Chicago; “First Look for Charity” fundraiser at the Chicago Auto Show; and a Holiday Luncheon and Candlelight Dinner at Misericordia. The goal of the Auxiliary is to provide funds to Misericordia to support programming that maximizes the residents’ independence and self-determination in an environment that fosters dignity, respect and an enhanced quality of life. Misericordia shares life with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through a full continuum of care.

Race for Our Place ♥️

This weekend, Misericordia Peterman Home residents joined Auxiliary members and their kids for the Race for Our Place 5K, supporting a local nonprofit that offers life-changing programs for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
