June 18 Update: I’m meeting with a local diabetes educator over the next couple weeks to make a plan! Open to suggestions from families of what would feel most helpful. Donation towards medical bills? New medical equipment? Scholarship to summer camp for children with diabetes! Would love to hear your ideas!

I’m searching for a local family who has a child battling type 1 diabetes or a local organization that supports children with type 1 diabetes to make a donation from Lizzie’s Lasting Light on behalf of a donor 💜

What an AMAZING event yesterday! Thank you so much to everyone who came out for a day of community and honoring Lizzie and the impact she continues to have. We raised $6,077 for Lizzie’s Lasting Light!

Special shout out to the Lizzie’s Lasting Light Angels (yes, I named you Lizzie's Angels) for volunteering your time and helping pull the event off yesterday - Brittney Orr, Kelsey Laforest, Kailie Jackson, Emily Betrus, Grace Monette, Krystal Jaquish, Brionna Prosser, Clayton Charles Cross, Lorri LaBarge, Molly & Callie Freeman, Jerrod & Mercedes.

Thank you to our performers, Marcus Carson and Ryan Casey and his bandmates, James Gram and Benji for their special guest appearances and Tom Daly for gracing us all with your musical talent.
