So far we've raised $90 of our goal of $120 for the banner! We would like to purchase flags as well.
We will have a donation jar at the meeting tomorrow, please help us reach our goal!

It takes a community!

Last year our Veterans banner was destroyed by vandalism 😡
That banner was donated by some of our owners so we want to replace it by taking up donations and have it placed at the entrance by 4th of July. See new banner design below.

The cost of a 4x8 vinyl banner is $120. To donate, send any amount via Zelle, Cash app, check, or cash.
There will be a donation jar at the meeting on June 14 or below are the ways to donate.

Please make sure when sending via Zelle or Cashapp to put " banner donation" in the memo.
We also want to line flags 🇺🇸 around the front entrance for the 4th, please state if your donation includes purchase of some flags.

Much appreciation to Keith Stanley for help with the PLOA mower when the belt popped off while mowing in the park! Now the park can be finished mowed.

Our Workday is complete. Thank you to those who volunteered to help. Our project list was finished.

Projects:
- 25 - 30 potholes filled
- concrete filled in swim area
- power washed outside of bath house
- power washed picnic tables
- repaired picnic tables
- repaired swing set
- trimmed brush in park
- burned brush pile
- stained boat dock and fishing pier
- mowed in park
- weeded in park
- filled holes in park
- poisoned 100 ant beds
- trimmed brush away from and cleaned speed limit signs

IT TAKES A COMMUNITY!

Yes, it takes a community to maintain, beautify, and improve.

While this Board is aware of the loose dogs problem and trust me, we are doing everything we can to stop it! We are aware they roam at night and get into trash cans and make a mess.

Today, I, Dana Vega, walked Flowers and picked up a trash bag full of scattered trash!
This is not my job, my property, or my responsibility but I did it to keep our community looking nice.

So I ask, it takes a community!
Please help! Make sure your trash is secure where it can't get into, if you see trash. . Pick it up!
Even if it's not your property, or if it is your property. .pick it up!

No where does it state being a Board Member we are required to mow or keep the community clean! We are volunteers!

As a community we need to do better! If you can volunteer, then let us know!

ATTENTION MEMBERS:

Reminder - Cameras in the park are being monitored!

While it is ok to enjoy all the amenities of our beautiful park, such as fishing, swimming, or the kids play ground, it is NOT ok to use the park as replacement for not having basic utilities.

It is NOT ok to use our electricity as a daily necessity!

It is NOT ok to make several trips to the park to use the bath house!

It is NOT ok to use the showers.

Keep in mind the park is maintained by funds from members dues so when the utilities bills increase, every member pays for it!

Use of the park is a privilege not a right. A fine will be assessed plus loss of park privileges if a member is in violation.

It's that time of year for fun in the sun! 🌞 What a better place than our beautiful park, now with hot showers, new toilets, plumbing repairs, and updated clubhouse.
Plan your next family reunion, birthday, graduation, or fishing trip. 🐟
Here are the rates for camping and clubhouse rental:

RV/Campers, 50 and 30amp:
$40 night, must pay first night to reserve.

Tent Camping:
$20 per tent, max of 5 persons per tent.

Clubhouse Rental:
$50 day use, additional $25 for overnight, $50 refundable deposit to reserve.

Picnic, Fishing, Day Use:
No charge, first come basis.

Electricity is available first come basis.

Members must be in good standing and park rules must be followed.
