June 1st is approaching fast! Gathering items to stock Yeah Baby and my friend, Lisa McWhorter Sosbee gave me an awesome idea -

Not only will we have great handpicked merchandise for your precious little ones, there will also be new & like new items available for your fur-babies! Yeah, baby 🐶 🐱

I've picked up A LOT of new loads lately and was contacted to pick up leftovers from a fundraiser sale for the Friends of Van Zandt County Animals. Their sale will be at the Wills Point Chamber of Commerce on May 29th, so come on out to support a great cause!

Do you like shopping for antiques, vintage or collectibles, thrifting, flea markets & craft fairs?

If you answered yes to any of the above, the East Fork Mall in Sunnyvale is your go to place!

There are 100+ dealers under 40k sq ft of climate-controlled comfort with a huge variety of merchandise to be discovered. Parking is free and clean restrooms are available.

East Fork Mall, located at 613 Hwy 80 in Sunnyvale, is OPEN seven days a week: Mon-Sat 10-5 & Sunday 12-5.

It's for these reasons I have chosen to take the retail operations of Basic Needs Storehouse to East Fork Mall.

AIthough it's 40 miles away from Myrtle Springs, it is THE MOST cost effective way to be able to continue helping people in the community (I believe wholeheartedly that is where helping should start from), disaster victims and to be able to keep my elderly mama out of a nursing home for as long as humanly possible.

School will be out soon and if you're looking for a family-friendly place to take the kiddos shopping, I highly recommend East Fork Mall.

Basic Needs Storehouse is currently in (Mimi'sMercantile), (Guy's & Dolls) & , with hopeful plans of and Lord willing even more expansion in the near future 🙏

Monday, April 27, 2026:

Loading up to haul a bunch of great quality merchandise to Sunnyvale this morning. As always, with prices to fit any budget!

Come see all the great deals at East Fork Mall, 613 Hwy 80 in Sunnyvale. We are located in , & . If we don't have what you're looking for, I'm sure one of the other 99+ dealers under 40k sq ft does!

The mall is open seven days a week, rain or shine: Mon-Sat 10-5 & Sunday 12-5. Parking is always free & clean restrooms are available.

Saturday, April 25, 2026:

Well, they took rain out of the forecast yesterday afternoon and we had a heck of a hail storm about 1:00 this morning. Haven't found any damage...yet.

No rain in forecast right now, soooo, will be working outside all day to do some clearing out and will be putting some freebies by the road. Can't guarantee they won't get rained on, though.

Tuesday, April 21, 2026:

Well, the rain is supposed to continue all week, so I won't be putting anymore freebies out until it clears up & dries out. I've taken all of the food I've gotten in to a small pantry at Aftershook on Hwy 64.

In the spirit of transparency - at this time, sales at the mall are only providing enough to cover the rent & pay for gas. However, daily sales historically drop in June when school is out & families go on vacation. The electric bill will be higher here at headquarters in Myrtle Springs during the coming months and I will not have any personal income to cover operations until July.

Obtaining 501c3 status takes time, so I will not be able to apply for grants until that goal is reached - unless an established nonprofit is willing to let me work under the umbrella of their 501c3.

I'm not asking for monetary donations. What I'm asking for is something everyone can afford - prayers and to share my posts so folks can see all the great deals in our spaces at East Fork Mall in Sunnyvale. The sales are the only means I have to keep Basic Needs Storehouse going right now.

Spent this rainy day preparing to haul a bunch of antique cars, trucks, guns, power tools & a 10-point buck to Guy's & Dolls ( ) at East Fork Mall this week! But don't get too excited - they're Avon bottles 😆

Rain is on the way, so I'm not putting anymore freebies out by the road today.

There are still several boxes out there right now - mostly canned goods & clothes hangers, but a bunch of odds & ends.

Will resume with putting freebies by the road when it dries out again 👍

Friday, April 10, 2026:

If anyone has any clothes hanging racks of any kind they would like to donate for the mission here in Myrtle Springs, it would be greatly appreciated.

It has become very difficult to help disaster victims with clothing, shoes, bedding & linens, etc. in their time of need due to inability to organize these items to be able to reach whatever is needed at a moment's notice.
