North Coast Lions Club had the privilege of welcoming Alicia Howerton from the Cleveland Sight Center as our guest speaker at our September 8 dinner meeting. Alicia, accompanied by Larry Benders, shared information about the many resources, programs, and services available to individuals who are blind or visually impaired.

Her presentation highlighted opportunities for rehabilitation, independent living support, assistive technology training, youth and senior services, and community outreach programs.

Members appreciated learning more about the Cleveland Sight Center's impact and how these services help individuals achieve greater independence and success.

North Coast Lions Club President, Nancy Fellows, addressed Timberlake Council tonight highlighting the many ways our club supports and serves the community. Fellow Lions were in attendance to show their support and commitment to our mission of service.

We were proud to share information about our vision programs, community outreach projects, assistance to individuals and families in need, youth initiatives, food and coat drives, and other efforts that make a positive impact throughout our communities.

Together, we continue to uphold the Lions motto, "We Serve," by working to meet local needs and strengthen the communities we call home. 🦁💙💛

North Coast Lions participated in the T1D Breakthrough Walk today at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, supporting efforts to fund research, advocacy, and programs for individuals and families affected by Type 1 Diabetes. Together, we are making a difference one step at a time! 💙🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

North Coast Lions Club members were proud to participate in the Resource Fair and Coat Giveaway at Willow Praise Church Fall Fest.

We enjoyed helping families select coats, gloves, and hats to prepare for the colder weather ahead.

We also hosted an information table featuring sunglasses to promote eye protection and provided information about available assistance programs for eye exams and glasses.

It was a wonderful opportunity to support local families, connect community members with valuable resources, and make a positive impact in our community.
