From Metro to Magic Johnson Park, Willowbrook Weekend was a wild success!

Roots & Routes brought the community together for two full days of celebration, featuring local vendors, Prosperity Market’s mobile farmers market, and Marathon Burgers. The Rosa Parks Station let neighbors catch every highlight, with free shuttle service to the FIFA FanZone.

Every part of Willowbrook came together for the first time to celebrate a global event and a national holiday with food, fun, and new friends.

More exciting community events are coming to Willowbrook all summer. Stay tuned!

Start your weekend with Roots and Routes at Willowbrook Rosa Parks Station for food, local vendors, kids zone, and live music.
Walk or bike the corridor to Paseo Willowbrook on Avalon Boulevard for open streets, shopping, and more. Then head to Earvin “Magic” Johnson Park for the FIFA Fan Zone with live match screenings, games, food, and music.

This summer, we’re investing in our youth through life skills, academic enrichment, leadership development, fitness, teamwork, and creative expression.

The WIN Impact Program is designed to help young people build confidence, strengthen character, and develop the skills needed to succeed in school, work, and life.

What a WIN!

Over 150 free smoked meat sandwiches served to our community at the 6th Annual Juneteenth Celebration and Resource Fair, hosted by Supervisor Holly J. Mitchell

Willowbrook Inclusion Network and teamed up with Light It Up Smoke It Up BBQ Catering & Competition to bring the WIN Flavor Cart out and feed our neighbors while celebrating freedom, community, and culture together.

This is the Willowbrook community showing up for itself.

Thank you to everyone who came through and to our partners United Way of Greater LA BMO U.S. who made it happen.
