Good morning everyone. Thank you all to those who have purchased tickets at this time as well as those who have donated ❤️❤️ We will be announcing winners next Saturday 1/21‼️‼️
Some updates: our mother has been readmitted to the hospital this week. She was having a lot of issues holding food down which they attribute to her new Gtube that was placed in last week. Although this has been an issue she has been dealing with since September so they are doing further testing. We are also waiting results of additional blood samples that were drawn. The infectious disease doctor made us aware that 2 types of bacteria were found in her blood stream. Today we will be talking with the team so they can advise what forms of antibiotics will be given to her, since one strain is Vanco resistant.
This is a step back, as she was set for surgery on 2/10 to have a shunt placed in her brain to drain excess fluid.
Please pray for our mother. This whole journey has been a rollercoaster that won’t stop.

Algunas actualizaciones: mi ma ha sido readmitida en el hospital esta semana. Tenía muchos problemas para retener la comida que atribuyen a la nueva sonda que se colocó la semana pasada. Aunque este ha sido un problema con el que ha estado lidiando desde septiembre, por lo que están realizando más pruebas. También estamos esperando los resultados de muestras de sangre adicionales que se extrajeron. El médico de enfermedades infecciosas nos informó que se encontraron 2 tipos de bacterias en su torrente sanguíneo. Hoy hablaremos con el equipo para que puedan aconsejar qué formas de antibióticos se le administrarán, ya que una cepa es resistente a Vanco.
Este es un paso atrás, ya que la iban a operar el 2/10 para que le colocaran una derivación en el cerebro para drenar el exceso de líquido.
