Thank you to our anonymous local donor we received a brand new stihl backpack blower from Randy's saw shop and 2 new pumps for our brush trucks.

After 2 years of working on it we finally got the grant to get two of these for our wildland firefighting efforts. These will be a definite asset in our future of wildland firefighting.

We have emergency led lighting kits at fire station for purchase. Each kit comes with 6 led bulbs with battery backup built in, 6 clips for bulbs with push-button switch, 3 stands to place bulbs on table, and 3 clips for ends of lamps for battery backup.
Simple to use and operate.
Use led bulbs like normal in your house, if electricity goes out, simply unscrew bulb from socket and screw into the included clip base and turn on.
Fully charged bulb will last 6 to 8 hours.
We are selling the kits for $20 for non members and $15 for our paid members.
This is half the price for members than they sell for on Amazon.
We have limited supply so first come first serve.

If at all possible please stay home this weekend. Keep in mind with bad weather we do still respond to calls, however its possible to be a delayed response if weather or roads are bad enough.
Limit outside activities as frostbite can and will set in quickly.
Also please keep all the local farmers in mind, as they have no choice but to be out in the weather with livestock.
Be safe and be weather aware for the next week or so.

Yesterday we wrapped up our community party for the kids we adopted this year and our fire department christmas dinner.
It takes a village they say ton raise a child abd we had several people help out with making sure 44 kids had a good christmas this year.
