Thank you SO MUCH to all of our elders who came out to join us this rainy Wednesday! A HUGE thank you to all of those who delivered meals to the home bound seniors as well! 🌧

Today, we served 120 chicken burritos with a side of chopped melons, freshly made pico de gallo, and a side of sour cream. We were too busy to get any photos this afternoon, but your positive reviews were very kind and made us smile! 🌯

We also had a tremendous day in raffle sales and tips! 100% of each of those things go directly back into our meal program. So, THANK YOU! 🙌

We love to do what we do, and we appreciate you all braving the wet weather to see us and eat! Next week, we'll be serving tender pulled pork sandwiches on whole wheat buns with a side of super delicious homemade potato salad! ✨️

Our no cost senior meal menu for September is here! Elders, please join us tomorrow, 9/2/26 at Studio 299 Center for the Arts for some flavorful chicken burritos with beans and fresh pico de gallo! 🌯

We will also have folks from the Willow Creek Fire Safe Council there starting at 10 am to share important fire safety information and potential services for fire prevention. 🏠

We will also have raffle tickets for sale with our two lovely raffle baskets! All ticket sales go directly to fund our senior meal program! Thank you to our generous donors, and please see our previous post for complete raffle information! 🎟

Our friends at the Willow Creek Fire Safe Council will be visiting us tomorrow at Studio 299 Center for the Arts at 10 am during our weekly no cost senior meal to discuss fire prevention and potential services they may be able to offer our local seniors. 🏠

If anyone would be able to fill this brief survey out, it will help them gather data and potentially get more resources to serve our area. ✔️

Elders, please join us this Wednesday, 9/2/26 from 11 to noon Studio 299 Center for the Arts for our weekly no cost senior meal! 🎉

This week, we will be serving delicious chicken burritos! 🌯

We will also have guests from the Willow Creek Fire Safe Council starting at 10 am, who will be here to talk to us about ways to protect homes from wildfire and potential fire prevention services they may be able to offer elders in our area. 🏠

It was a gorgeous day at our weekly no cost senior lunch today! Thank you SO much to all of the elders who came out to join us, have lunch, and socialize! 🌞

Today, we served Philly Cheesesteaks with American and provolone cheese, mushrooms, and fresh pan seared onions and bell peppers. A side of crisp cole slaw and some assorted fruit. We served 120 sandwiches to seniors today! Our meals are always low sodium and diabetic friendly without compromising flavor! 🎉

As always, thank you to Studio 299 Center for the Arts for hosting us and our elder community each week! 🏆

Next Wednesday, 9/2/26, we will be serving chicken burritos packed full of fresh and delicious ingredients. We will also have guests from the Willow Creek Fire Safe Council who will be discussing ways they can help seniors fortify their homes for fire prevention. Hope to see our elders there! 🏠

Seniors 60 and up, please join us this Wednesday 8/26/26 for some delicious Philly Cheesesteaks!

The smoke has been clear, the weather has been beautiful and we hope to see you for another lovely meal and some time to be social! 🌞

A huge thank you to our friends at Studio 299 Center for the Arts for hosting us and huge THANK YOU to Trinity Community Food Outreach for their generous grant that has sustained us through the month of August! 🙌

We are so grateful to do what we do, and we couldn't do it without all of the support from our seniors and our community! 🤍

We have some very exciting news on the horizon, and we look forward to sharing it with you! 😊

Thank you to Tri County Independent Living for coming out today to offer a multitude of information and services to our community. Thank you to all of the elders who stayed or came for our lunch!

Trinity River Outreach fed over 100 elders this afternoon for our no cost senior meal! Today, we served handmade salmon cakes, greenbeans, a flavorful orzo, and a fresh berry fluff for dessert. Although this wasn't our most esthetically pleasing meal (as we ran out of our larger 3 chamber meal boxes), we still had a lot of compliments that the meal was well rounded and delicious.

We are all volunteers here, and we are so happy to be doing what we do for our elder community! With every hurdle we encounter, comes a good learning experience and and we are only getting better and better!

Thank you to all who come to eat with us and thank you to all of those who support us! 🤍

Thank you to all the elders who came to our no cost senior lunch yesterday. To grab food to go or to those who came out to dine with us, say hello, and stay to visit! We also delivered over 40 meals to homebound seniors. We hope all of the home bound seniors who received a delivery enjoyed their meal as well!

Yesterday, we served a crisp and bright Asian chicken salad with a fresh shelled organic edamame, mandarins, fresh herbs, and toasted almonds. The dressing (not pictured) was a sesame ginger. The chicken was baked to perfection in a flavorful teriyaki marinade. We also served a side of brown rice and a delicious homemade pineapple fluff with a graham cracker crumble on top.

Please join us next week (August 19th) as we will have visitors from Tri-Counties Independent Living. They will be at Studio 299 in conjunction with Trinity River Outreach to discuss their services for seniors and disabled individuals in our area. They have numerous services and grants available.

Do you need home repairs, a deep clean and organization of your home, w**d eating for fire safety, roof cleaning? Please come join us at 10:00 am August 19th to see what help is available and stay for lunch!

When: Wednesday, August 19th @ 10 am

Where: 75 The Terrace Ln, Willow Creek

For lunch, we will be serving with delicious oven baked salmon or a delectable salmon cake served with a yummy side. Hope to see our seniors there!
