The Lake County NAACP 68th Annual Freedom Bund Banquet was held last night. Our very own Executive Director, Dana Wolfe, was honored with the Reverend Vincent R. Miller Community Impact Award! Dana’s leadership and commitment to our community is exemplary, and she executes the strategic plan to support the Chambers mission and vision.

The WWLCC Board of Directors created history in hiring the first person of color to lead a Chamber of Commerce in Lake County, and history was made a second time being the first Chamber in Lake County to win Outstanding Chamber of the Year for 2025!

The celebration included notable community leaders including Dione DeMitro, President and CEO, United Way of Lake County, who was presented with the Presidential Leadership Award for her commitment to making a positive impact in Lake County!

Congratulations to all of the winners including Dana and Dione! Thank you to the WWLCC Board of Directors, family and Chamber friends including Katrina March from Eastern Lake County Chamber of Commerce, Tonda DiPlacido from Mimi Magazine, Rhonda Osagie-Erese from Rhonda Osa for taking the time to celebrate with us!

This accomplishment showcases the work of all involved with the WWLCC and we proudly accept this recognition for the work we have done to support our community.

Please join us for a new collaborative event... Lake County, The Community Beneath the Numbers, presented by Express Employment Professionals of Mentor, OH.

This informative session, in partnership with Eastern Lake County Chamber of Commerce, Mentor Area Chamber of Commerce and United Way of Lake County, will include a deep dive into Lake County as we address our Civic landscape and why it matters to your workforce and bottom line.

Breakfast will be provided thanks to Breakfast Champions Olympus Aerospace, Griffin Technology Group, and the Lake County ADAMHS Board - Lake Adamhs.

This morning we were joined by Rob and Sandra Wentz from Elevate Business Advisors - Team Wentz at Monreal I.T. in Wickliffe for a workshop presented by CSL Plasma and Tour Lake County OH. Rob and Sandra provided attendees with a strategic method to turn business goals for 2027 into an actionable plan for success.

Thank you to CSL Plasma and Tour Lake County OH for sponsoring the workshop. We also thank Biggby Coffee of Wickliffe Ohio for providing a delicious breakfast. Thank you to Julie O’Neil from Roots & Wings and Bill Snow from Rad Air Complete Car Care and Tire Centers for introducing our speakers, and to Monreal IT for hosting the workshop in their amazing workspace.
