In celebration of Black History Month, the WWLCC would like to recognize Tenisha Gant-Watson, founder and CEO of Jordan Community Resource Center.
Tenisha Gant-Watson is the Founder and CEO of Jordan Community Resource Center and Phoenix Counseling Solutions. With over two decades of service, she has built a transformative, trauma-informed model that supports women overcoming victimization and life-altering adversity. A passionate advocate, ordained minister, and dynamic motivational speaker, Tenisha has been recognized by The U.S. Department of Justice, The City of Cleveland, The Cleveland Foundation, Cuyahoga County Land Bank and others for her impactful work.
Under her leadership, Jordan CRC and Phoenix CS have become accredited, with holistic programs offering recovery housing, employment services, and behavioral health care. Tenisha’s methods are rooted in love, preparation, and determination. As a member of the PI-SF International Taskforce on Human Trafficking, she has spoken at the White House and been featured on WKYC and POLITICO.
