Great news for continued restoration and preservation at Mentor Marsh!

The Cleveland Museum of Natural History has received a $750,000 grant from the Ohio Lake Erie Commission to continue restoring its Mentor Marsh State Nature Preserve—one of Northeast Ohio’s most important natural spaces!

As one of the Museum’s largest and longest-running restoration projects, Mentor Marsh has already seen incredible progress over the years—and this funding allows that work to continue. From protecting wildlife to restoring native plants, we’re so excited to see how far it’s come and where it’s headed next.
