🎉📣Calling all potential 2026 Willmar Fests Ambassador Candidates 📣 🎉

Willmar Fests Candidate recruiting has been in full swing as we gear up for our community celebration this summer and prepare to pass the torch, or in this case - the crowns, to the next team of three Willmar Fests Ambassadors!

Our Candidate Coordinator, Bri Gimse, and the recruiting team - have been making every attempt to contact 2025 graduates that have lived in the Willmar School District to share information and answer questions regarding candidacy ☺️ This does not mean that potential candidates need to have graduated from the Willmar Senior High - but rather is based on current or previous residency within the Willmar School District. We would also love to connect with any young ladies in the homeschool community, from the Community Christian School, DREAM Technical Academy, etc. that graduated in 2025 and meet our other eligibility requirements (see below).

We would love if you could share this post so that we can reach as many eligible ladies as possible as the application deadline is approaching: March 31st! We would love to have anyone else interested in learning more about what it means to be involved in our community through Willmar Fests and beyond to join us. We can’t wait to celebrate all that our amazing community has to offer with all of you this summer!

**If you are a female 2025 graduate that is on Facebook, please check your message requests on this platform as Bri Gimse and other recruiters have tried to personally reach out to everyone that they can on Facebook. We also have been attempting to find gals on instagram in order to connect that way! We want to connect with you however we can ☺️

❤️In order to be eligible to submit an application to be considered as a Willmar Fests Ambassador Candidate, applicants must have lived or live in the Willmar School District, not be engaged or married, not be pregnant nor be a parent, graduated in 2025 and be between the ages of 18-21 by July 15th of this current year. It is of great importance that applicants can adhere to a zero tolerance drug and alcohol policy. Applicants also must not be running for any other title or fulfilling another reign.💙

**Social media platforms have made it more difficult to do mass reach outs as it our messages can be flagged as spam when sending out in large batches. Girls also may have settings disabling messages from people they are not established friends with (yay, internet safety!) so many of our reach out attempts have not been able to go deliver successfully. We need your help to spread the word on this incredible opportunity! 👑

✨HOLIDAZE✨

Our Ambassadors spent Saturday back home for our Holidaze event. It was a beautiful night out in the Willmar community, thank you to everyone who came to enjoy the festivities!

🎄⭐️Willmar’s Annual Holiday event will be taking place on November 22nd🎄⭐️

Come on out to Downtown Willmar for some family fun!!

Starting at 4pm, there will be hot chocolate ☕️, soup and chili 🥣, touch a truck 🚒, pictures with Santa🎅🏼the Festival of Trees🌲,and the Holiday Market 🛍️

The Holidaze Lighted Parade will begin at 6:30pm!

Then, starting at 7:30pm, Holidaze after Hours will be taking place 🍻

✨Anoka Coronation✨

To end the night, our girls returned to their red, white, and blue to attend coronation. They welcomed the newly crowned Anoka Ambassadors and congratulated Sydney, Ava, and Berit on an incredible year. They had the best time in Anoka, thank you for having us!🧡🕸️

✨Golden Ticket Winners✨

While in Anoka, and in theme with their W***y Wonka costumes, the Willmar Fests Ambassadors passed out Wonka bars throughout the parade lineup. There were Golden Tickets in 5 of the bars, and the winners could bring forward the ticket in exchange for a prize. Thank you for playing along and making this a special addition to their day! Congratulations to our winners!!🍫🍬

✨Anoka Halloween Parade✨

Our Ambassadors spent yesterday back in Anoka, this time as W***y Wonka & the Chocolate Factory! They had the best time embracing their new look in the Halloween Capitol of the World. From the incredible decorations and creative costumes, to the beauty and welcoming nature of their community, our ambassadors enjoyed every minute of their time here!🎃
