Willmar Community Center The Community Center is for you! The Willmar Community Center welcomes all ages of people to attend our programs, classes, and activities.

We encourage intergenerational events, so invite your friends, family members, and younger people to get involved in our events! The purpose of the City of Willmar’s social media presence is to provide members of the

Participants will learn to craft unique greeting cards, assemble & decorate cardboard box templates, & add personal touches like stickers, yarn, or other embellishments to make a special gift or classroom mailbox.

The class is suitable for all skill levels & provides an opportunity for creative expression & a fun, collaborative activity.

Boxes provided. But welcome to bring own items to add/use!

Winters are long on us all!

We invite you and your dog for a playtime session!
Play areas designated for small pups and large pups will be marked off.

Dates:
Sat., Jan. 31, 1-2p
Sun., Feb. 15 1-2p
Sun., March 8, 1-2p

Reserve your play time slot now!

Cost: $5.00/session or $15.00 for all four.

Toys will be available at the play time sessions, but you can bring your own favorites (just be prepared to share :) )

All owners must provide proof of vaccinations, no female does in heat will be allowed. Aggression will not be tolerated. Owners must clean up after their dog and are encouraged to play as well. Water will be available. Toys are allowed. The City is not responsible for any injuries that could take place within facility.

Aging Wisely: Finding New Confidence and Purpose,” will meet at Thursday, Feb. 5 @ 1:30pm at the Willmar Community Center.

The program is part of a series to help support the educational, social and nutritional needs of older adults.
