WIN Women Inspiring and Networking "Women Supporting, networking, educating and building relationships" WIN- Women Inspiring and Networking (formerly BPW) is a non-profit women's organization.

Mission Statement: Women Supporting, networking, educating and building relationships

Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month. Social time at 5:00 pm with meeting starting at 5:30 p.m. These meetings consist of dinner and a program related to current topics of interest in the community or region, and the meeting location is most often at The Oaks at Eagle Creek in Willmar. Membership is $60 per year.

*We maintain a very active mentoring program for girls in grades 5 through 8. Not all members are mentors, but all members support the program.

*We provide a scholarship each year to a female student at Ridgewater College

*We also support Safe Avenues (formerly Shelter House). This venue is a non-profit organization committed to ending Domestic and Sexual Violence. If you would like more information, please email [email protected] or [email protected]. We look forward to hearing from you!

🌸 Meet the Women of WIN! 🌸

This week, we're excited to introduce Julie Asmus!

Julie serves as our Membership Chair and Mentoring Chair and has been involved with WIN (Previously BPW) for 35 years! Throughout her time with WIN, she has experienced firsthand the importance of women supporting, encouraging, and mentoring one another.

Outside of WIN, Julie enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family. 📚 ✈️

Meet Briana! Briana lives in Atwater with her husband and their three children. She has worked at Presbyterian Family Foundation for eight years as a manager in the Conservatorship Department. When she’s not working, life is busy with the kids’ sports, spending time with family, and enjoying time on the golf course. We’re happy to have Briana as part of our group!

Meet our newest WIN member, Aimee Winter!

Aimee grew up in Willmar and now calls Lake Lillian home, where she lives with her son. For the past five years, she’s been working at Presbyterian Family Foundation as a Conservatorship Manager. She recently celebrated another milestone by earning her AAS degree in Business Management!

Aimee is passionate about growing both personally and professionally and looks forward to connecting with other women, sharing experiences, and learning from one another. We’re excited to welcome Aimee and look forward to getting to know her better!

Jayme has been a member of WIN for 3 years and currently serves as our Vice President! When she’s not busy with real estate or her role at Talking Waters Brewing, you can find her spending time with her family, enjoying the lake, or planning her next adventure!

Our WIN Board members were hard at work earlier this week getting ready for the year ahead! 💜 We spent time planning for our next meeting on October 20th, discussing upcoming activities, and reviewing this year’s Fall Mum Fundraiser.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported our mum fundraiser this year! We appreciate everyone who helped make it a success! 🌸

Meet our newest WIN member, Tasha Gillham! Tasha graduated from Foley, MN, where she met her husband. She has 5 kids, so she is a busy sports mom. She lives in Paynesville and owns eNeRGy Nutrition in Spicer. She used to work in administration in the healthcare field, so this is a new adventure for her. We’re excited to have her as a member of the amazing group of WIN women!

Meet our newest member, Tayla Boersma!! Tayla grew up in SD but has lived in New London for the past 10 years. She is married and has two kids. She works at the MinnWest Technology Campus as the Commercial Property Manager. Outside of work she loves spending time with her family on the hockey rink, taking a bike ride or enjoying time on the lake. Welcome Tayla!!

Meet our newest WIN member, Toni Sing! Toni is a Willmar native and raised 3 kids here with her husband, Taylor. Toni has worked in the banking business and at a CPA and consulting firm. She has recently started a new journey as a business coach and Professional EOS Implementer. This means she helps business owners get everything they want out of their business.

🍎 Our mentoring group enjoyed a wonderful evening at Old Mill Orchard & Tasting Grove near Spicer!

The girls had the opportunity to walk through the apple orchard and learn from owners Dylan and Emily about what it takes to plant, care for, and harvest the many different varieties of apples. Each mentor and mentee even got to pick their own apples and take home a bag!

One of the most memorable parts of the evening was getting to plant an apple tree in the orchard—a special experience the girls can look back on for years to come. 🌳❤️

We were also excited to welcome our newest mentor and mentee pair, Corin and Daessa. We’re so happy to have them join our group! 💕
