To grow this project this year, the Lanning family donated pigs for the Pig Launch Project. We had 10 commercial swine at the fair this year shown by Jaelynn J, Payton J, Paul L, Coby S, Ellery S. and Elouise V. Thank you, Lanning Family!

We also had 4 Cloverbuds show swine this year.

The 2026 Jerry Magnuson Beef Legacy Award went to Abby B.

This award started three years ago to continue Magnuson’s memory. Recipients are selected based on their involvement in 4-H, fair showcase projects and how they advocate for the beef industry.

Starting off our county fair highlights is the beef project!

We had a great show judged by Bret Oelke this year.

Our Overall Grand Champion Beef was Mhina R. with her market steer and our Overall Reserve Grand Champion Beef was Kelsie S. with her breeding heifer.

As we prepare to highlight all of the fun happenings of the Kandiyohi County Fair, we first wanted to thank all the amazing volunteers that helped make it all possible.

Livestock Exhibitors (grades 3+):
Along with earning a blue ribbon at the fair, to be eligible for the Blue Ribbon Auction, you must register and complete a livestock interview.
