Fall riding season is here, that means beautiful cool weather for long bike rides on Minnesota roads and trails. But if your bike is electric you need to know if it is legal to use everywhere a bike is allowed.

Remember if the pedals don’t work, the throttle goes over 20 mph, or the motor is larger than 750 watts then it isn’t allowed everywhere a bike can ride and is likely not legal on your local roads.

Construction on the Glacial Lakes Trailhead parking lot will begin Wednesday, September 2nd, or Thursday, September 3rd.

During construction, please use the Civic Center parking lot to access the trail. We ask for your patience and understanding during this time. We’ll provide progress updates as they become available.
