WinLink radio email supports email with attachments, position reporting, weather and information bulletins, and is well-known for its role in interoperable emergency and disaster relief communications. It is capable of operating completely without the internet--automatically--using smart-network radio relays.
You will need to download a VARA app designed to interface with WinLink. Some are no cost and others have a minimal 1 time fee.
VARA Products, including VARA HF, VARA FM, VARA Chat, VARA Sat, and VARA Terminal, are now hosted on the Winlink Servers for distribution. You can visit the downloads site at https://downloads.winlink.org.
