I believe in the power of music to lift hearts and bridge communication gaps. There's plenty of science to support that learning to play an instrument develops higher thinking skills. I am equally convinced that putting a musical instrument in a child's hands, or encouraging them to sing, or dance, or make art of any kind is the best thing you can do for them, right after giving them love, and the
other essentials of life, like food, clothing, and shelter. I believe in the power of generosity and compassion to attract and create abundance. I am convinced that there are clever ways to solve the problems of the homeless, hungry, and broken-hearted that are self-sustaining, so that the ENTIRE community can be involved in supporting them with their feet, their votes, their voices, and their wallets - especially if they're buying tickets to a world-class rock concert, or supporting a music & dance festival that their kids are competing in, or taking the whole family to the "Dream Brother Cafe" for a meal from their "pay as you can" menu and leaving a big tip, just because it feels good to be a part of a great idea. And wouldn't it be great if that cafe was also a place where Middle and High school kids could hang out after school? What if that cafe had it's own bio-intensive vegetable garden and produced its own eggs? What if able clients could earn meal tokens (for themselves and their entire family) by helping to staff the cafe, work in the garden, or cleaning city streets and empty lots? See where I'm going with this? Because of the power of Jeff's musical legacy, I have extraordinary access to and the means to reach millions of people, worldwide, as well as celebrated and emerging artists from all over the world. I'm not wealthy enough to fund these projects outright, but I have enough to plant seeds and the determination required to build support for each phase of putting my master plan up on its feet and sustaining itself, as well as enriching the town on every level.
