October 2nd's Willits Rotary Club meeting, being the first meeting of the month, was an evening meeting held at The Buzzard's Roost in Willits. Included was the induction ceremony of our newest member Mason Rescina. Mason brought his grandparents, Neil and Sharon Nunnemaker, and several Willits Rotary Club members were on hand to welcome him to the club.

It was a great evening with good food and lots of laughter. Welcome Mason!

Join the North County Friends of Mendocino College, the Mendocino College Foundation, the Willits Lions Club, and the Willits Rotary Club at a fundraising dinner for Summer Scholars on
Saturday, October 11 at the Little Lake Grange, 291 School Street, in Willits.

Prepared by a local honorary chef, dinner includes either a tantalizing lamb chop main course served with local seasonal sides or mushroom ravioli with butter sage cream sauce and porcini dust. One beer or wine ticket and a decadent seasonal dessert are also included.

There will be a silent auction and a door prize, as well as a live auction with Auctioneer Tom Allman.
