Bike Wente

Bike Wente Bike Wente is a group of mountain bikers and supporters of Mountain Biking at Wente Scout Reservatio It is located just east of Willits, CA.

Wente Scout Reservation is the home of the Wente Mountain Biking program. The camp has been owned by the San Francisco Bay Area Council since the 1950's. Over 2200 acres of beautiful land has provided vast opportunities for the biking program. Since 2004, Mountain Biking has been the latest addition to the activities offered at Wente Scout Reservation. Building the program from the ground up hasn'

t been easy, but thanks to the hard work of summer camp staff and many volunteers, we've created THE Standard for mountain biking programs in Boy Scouts.

Bike Wente’s kiddy coaster shaping, turned into a bit of dirt nerding, to the max! With hosting friends from Mendocino Coast Cyclists, Willits Area Cyclists, and Ukiah Valley Trail Group. This hands on experience with bike specific trail design provided an incredible day of sharing ideas and learning from one another. Thank you again friends! I love my cycling community.

This is a new berm. It is purpose built and designed to put a smile on riders faces. Come 9:00AM tomorrow registration will open for the Wente 8 hour, where a lucky 550 people will be registering to ride this berm. I look forward to seeing this berm brings smiles to faces. I look forward to the stories this turn will form. Best of luck with registration everyone.
