Meet Lexi! ⭐️

At about eight years old, Lexi has learned a thing or two about what makes life great: good people, fun adventures, plenty of affection, and a chance to get out and explore.

This beautiful brindle girl is an affectionate, intelligent, playful dog who loves being with her people. She’s happiest when she’s part of the action, whether that means going for a hike, playing fetch, heading out for a jog, or simply spending time together. And if there’s water involved, even better! Lexi loves splashing in creeks and cooling off in a kiddie pool. 💦

Lexi is also a smart girl who loves to learn. She knows sit, down, take it, and drop it, and she’s very motivated by treats and positive reinforcement. At 55 pounds, she’s lean, athletic, and ready for a home that will keep her engaged and include her in daily life.

Lexi would likely be happiest as the only dog in the home, where she can soak up all the attention and be someone’s loyal adventure buddy and best friend. 💚

Lima and Bravo would like to formally complain about these photographs. 📸

They assure us they are MUCH cuter in person. Better pictures are coming, but in the meantime, please don’t let their less-than-stellar photo session fool you.

These two four-month-old puppies were dumped out in the country and left to fend for themselves. Fortunately, their story took a turn for the better, and they’re now safe at the Milo Foundation Sanctuary and ready to start the next chapter.

Like most puppies their age, Lima (girl) and Bravo (boy) will need the usual puppy education: house-training, basic manners, socialization, exercise, enrichment and plenty of patience. In return, you get the fun, goofy, wonderful part of raising a puppy.

And yes, we promise: they really are cuter than these pictures make them look. 💚

💚One of our long-time volunteers and fosters has been a blessing to Destiny. Destiny is thriving out of the shelter environment and is ready for her forever family. Here’s what Des’s foster has to say:

Titan is four years old, wonderfully mellow, and has a very simple philosophy on life: find the sunshine, find the people, and settle in. Preferably somewhere comfortable.

This not-too-big, handsome guy loves being around people and is happiest when he can hang out with his favorite humans. He enjoys other dogs, too, and is always happy to go for a nice walk — but he’s equally enthusiastic about the part that comes afterward: lounging.

Sunshine? Excellent.
A leisurely walk? Sure!
Hanging out with his people? Absolutely.
A peaceful afternoon doing as little as possible? Now we’re talking.

Meet Adeline! This big, goofy girl is basically a puppy with a whole lot of dog attached. 😂

Five-month-old Adeline is fun, silly, playful, and always ready for whatever comes next — especially if it involves WATER! Whether she’s splashing, zooming, playing, or generally making a delightful mess of things, she’s happiest when she’s having fun.

Like all big puppies, Adeline needs all the things: training, structure, exercise, enrichment, patience, and people who understand that growing up is a process. She’s looking for a home ready to embrace the joyful chaos of puppyhood while helping her learn how to become the wonderful adult dog she’s meant to be.
