Let’s keep working on legislation to clean up our food, and restore house to our community

After sharing the disturbing new research linking Roundup exposure during pregnancy to premature birth, I want to remind everyone that we could dramatically reduce our exposure just by ending the completely unnecessary practice of spraying Roundup on food crops right before harvest.

In Europe, spraying Roundup directly on food crops to dry them right before harvest has been BANNED.

In the U.S. it’s allowed on 70+ crops and accounts for over half the glyphosate in our diet.

Roundup isn’t just glyphosate…it contains other ingredients shown to be MORE toxic than glyphosate itself. The EU banned one of those ingredients back in 2016, while the U.S. still allows it.

Please share this. Why should Americans be exposed to Roundup at such an alarming rate, while other countries have already taken steps to protect their citizens?

Here is the complete series of the video clips we made about the Grange Garden Project.
I am sharing this with much gratitude to the Little Lake Grange, Ann Brigit Waters, Leslie King, Donna D' Terra, Cold Water Creek, Dripworks, Sparetime Supply Distribution, Mill and Lumber, generous private donors, and the many volunteers and friends who provided much-needed assistance with the creation of the garden and with getting the videos done. We appreciate all who are part of keeping the garden alive and thriving. It is a community project to show how easy it is to grow and use herbs locally.

Despite rumors to the contrary, the Grange building survived the earthquake with no significant damage. Please join us this Sunday June 28 for the Grange Pancake Breakfast from 8 am to 11 am.
A good flapjack will be had by all!!

The Grange has many events, some which we put on and others that people rent the Grange to put on. Among our most popular events is the pancake breakfast (this month it is June 28).

Food is always a good draw, what other food would you like to see us prepare as the center of an event? Spaghetti? Pizza? BBQ? Something else?

Please give us your ideas so we can consider the practicalities.
