⚠️ Long post warning... but we have a lot to be thankful for! 💙🚲
MILESTONE MILES 2026 — WHAT A DAY!
THANK YOU to everyone who attended, volunteered, donated, sponsored, rode, and cheered! We are incredibly grateful for a community that continues to show up and make this event possible.
A little behind the scenes on how Milestone Miles worked this year...
Each year, Milestone Miles may look a little different depending on where we feel we can make the biggest impact. This year, our focus was specifically on our local kids and schools.
Every school in the district had the opportunity to submit a grant application to The Stone Foundation requesting adaptive and sensory equipment. There was no set dollar amount — we simply asked schools to tell us what they needed.
We received applications from ALL of our elementary schools plus the district's pre-k: Garden Valley, Hagan, Lewis & Clark, McVay, Missouri Ridge, Rickard, Sloulin, Wilkinson & Future Coyotes Pre-K. 💙
In return, each school committed to having a team at Milestone Miles. With 9 schools and 15 bikes, additional team spots were offered first come, first served. Once applications were in and donations collected, we were able to allocate funding to EVERY school that applied based on their individual needs!
💙 Together, we raised $48,000 — all of which went directly back to our local schools! 💙
Milestone Miles is the celebration of all of that — bringing everyone together and recognizing the incredible community sponsors who make it possible.
That $48,000 included the funding awarded through the schools' grant applications, along with some extra fun ways we were able to give back during Milestone Miles:
🏆 Lewis & Clark — Milestone Miles Champions, earning $2,500 for their PTO!
💰 Wilkinson — selected for the 50/50 raffle, bringing $1,070 to their PTO after the winner generously donated their portion back!
🎟️ Rickard — randomly selected to receive 100% of the silent auction proceeds, bringing $1,290 to their PTO!
And most importantly, it was FUN! Jump N Fun Inflatables, giant school coloring sheets, the fan station, free Daily Addiction Coffee House refreshments, snacks, and Dj-Jaykaycee keeping the energy high — all made possible by our community sponsors.
A HUGE thank you to the Williston Parks and Recreation District for once again donating the space for us to host Milestone Miles AND providing the spin bikes for our teams to ride. This event truly wouldn't be possible without their generosity and continued support! 💙🚲
Events like this take a lot of work (and maybe leave us with a little exhaustion 😂), but when we stop and look at what this community has allowed us to do, it truly brings tears to our eyes. Seeing $48,000 go directly back to our local kids and schools makes every bit of that hard work worth it.
To everyone who played a part — THANK YOU. None of this happens because of just the three of us. It happens because of ALL of you. We are so grateful for every person, business, organization, school, and family who helped make Milestone Miles possible. 💙
