We took our Bronson Middle High and Williston Middle High school SWAT (Students Working Against To***co) and LCPC mentoring students to the International Costal Clean Up in Cedar Key to collect important data about the types of trash impacting costal environments. While picking up trash our main goal was to count how many cigarette butts we could find. Together, BMHS and WMHS collected 428 cigarette butts! About 30% less than last year!
