Today, Support Staff United and Vermont Federation of Nurses and Health Professionals introduced proposals in contract bargaining that would make our hospitals and communities safer for everyone who wants to call Vermont home.
We were proud to stand with Migrant Justice and SEIU CIR to call on UVM Medical Center to create greater protections for all employees and patients, and to join the Milk with Dignity program so all milk purchased by the hospital comes from farms where basic human rights are protected. As we say in the labor movement, an injury to one is an injury to all!
