www.relay It is a fun event that brings a community together.

Relay For Life is a community walk to benefit the American Cancer Society. But, as those who have participated in Relays will tell you, it is much more than that. It inspires hope in those who participate. It lets us remember and honor those we have lost to cancer. And, most importantly, it allows us to celebrate those who have survived their battles with cancer while raising money to help put an end to a disease that has touched us all.

November is National Caregiver Month and we here at the American Cancer Society want to thank all the selfless caregivers who support cancer patients through their journey.

From the friend bringing over dinner, to the nurse holding their hand during treatment, or the spouse or parent who is there every step of the way; caregivers are the unsung heroes who listen, love, and take on the daily burdens to let cancer patients focus on getting well.

We would like to show them our support and sincerely thank each and every one of them for their kindness.

And now you can join us! During this season of giving thanks, here are a few ways that you can show your appreciation for a caregiver in your life.

💌 Simply reach out. Take a moment to make a call, send a text or mail a letter to say thank you.
🎁 Give a gift from our Caregiver Store. Now through November 30, four limited edition items will be available for purchase.
🕯 Honor a caregiver by donating in their name to our 2020 campaign
🙏 Thank a Caregiver on your social channels in the month of November and use to share your story and show your thanks.

Caregivers are there when patients need them most, so join us in acknowledging and celebrating that love and support this November.
