Our story: The WPR Foundation was established to help fund and promote the mission of the Williston Parks and Recreation District. This mission is to provide superior programs, parks and services for all to enjoy, but the Foundation's focus is to help increase the quality and quantity of youth programs in the Williston area. With help from the Foundation, youth recreation costs are kept at a minimum and workout equipment can be updated and replaced as needed for the health and safety of our kids. This foundation was also developed to broaden the scope of services offered to seniors in the community and to fund projects that will enhance facilities and programs offered such as the start up costs for new programs such as Youth Strider, skate rentals and kayak/water sport rentals.
