🎉💪🏻Exercise Class was BOOMING! 🎉💪🏻

We had an amazing turnout for exercise class!!!💪🏻 It's wonderful to see so many of our seniors staying active, moving their bodies and making time for their health and wellness. 💓

And of course, exercise class comes with a little extra entertainment!🤣😂 Come join us and you might just get to hear a very special joke from Howard or Dave! You never know what they'll come up with!🤪😝

Our seniors had a spooktacular time at craft day creating their very own DIY acrylic paint portraits!🖌️💜🧡

We loved seeing all the unique, creative and festive Halloween paintings our seniors came up with. Everyone had a great time and we couldn't be prouder of their spooky masterpieces! 👻🖌️🖼️

While we are sad to take a pause, we hope to bring this class back in the spring.🌷

We had a spooktacular time at Game Day!👻🧡 We whipped up some delicious Jack-O'-Lantern Floats 🎃🥤 and enjoyed an afternoon of games, laughs🤣 and good company!

We're excited to introduce a new Alzheimer's & Dementia Support Group right here at The Senior Center.

This group is being created by local seniors, for local seniors with the goal of providing a comfortable place to connect, share experiences, offer encouragement and know you don't have to navigate the challenges of Alzheimer's & Dementia alone. 💞

Whether you're caring for a loved one, supporting a friend, experiencing changes yourself or simply want to learn and connect with other, you are welcome here. 💜

✨✨Spotlight of The Month✨✨

This month we are putting a spotlight on MASON!!!✨👏🏻

What got you interested in volunteering for 🛻 Meals on Wheels?
It was suggestion I recieved from someone after I had the conversation of wanting to do more for our community.🥳

What is your favorite part of volunteering and what do you enjoy most?
The new people 👯‍♀️🧓🏻👵🏻 I've got to meet and the small laughs😂 I try to bring them.

Outside of volunteering, what is a fun/interesting fact people may not know about you?
I started 3D printing and I have a duck 🪿named Daphne.

What are some things you enjoy doing on your spare time?
Playing musical instruments🎸🎶 and hanging out with my animals.

If you could describe you volunteering experience in a few words, what would you say?
It's an opportunity that every individual should experience! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
