Update:

We had an amazing turn out for our mobile food drive we served 150 households today. We also have bananas Cilantro and lettuce left out next to our give one take one stand please take as much as you want but please leave the plastic black crates and pallets because we have to return them to Montgomery food bank. Wishing you all a blessed afternoon, and I want to express my sincere gratitude, from the very bottom of my heart, to all the volunteers who dedicated their time and energy today to make this event possible. I truly wouldn't have been able to pull this off without your incredible support, so please accept my heartfelt thanks once again.

Outreach is in desperate need of carts and flat dollys to make unloading trucks and loading boxes to cars more manageable. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Our first official mobile food drive is now complete and we were able to serve over 150 households! Thank you so much to everyone who was able to come out and volunteer. Don't forget next Tuesday and Thursday we have a walk up pantry from 5-7pm come and see us.

📢 Walnut Cove Community Outreach Announcement

Good afternoon, Walnut Cove residents,

We are excited to announce that tomorrow will be our first trial run of the new Mobile Food Pantry here in Walnut Cove. As this is our initial rollout, we kindly ask for your patience and understanding while we work through logistics and learn the most efficient routes to best serve our entire community.

🚗 Important Traffic Information:

- All residents must enter from Calvary Road
- Continue down Amblewood Drive for access
- There will be one designated entrance and one designated exit only
- Please follow all posted directions and volunteers to ensure a smooth and safe flow of traffic

Our goal is to make this resource accessible, organized, and beneficial for everyone in the neighborhood. Your cooperation during this trial run is greatly appreciated as we continue improving the process.

Update:

Thanks to all the wonderful work of the volunteers this morning we do not need any help tomorrow but will still absolutely need everyone that wants to help this Saturday. Please try to arrive by 9am so we can't get you signed in and ready for kickoff the food drive at 11am. Thanks again and my blessings!
