James, is reaching the final milestone of his Scouting journey: the Eagle Scout Rank. To give back to the community, he has designed a special project at a the Grace Family Fellowship Church in Willis—A Path of Peace.

This walking path is designed to be a quiet space for reflection and connection with God, open to everyone in our community. To bring this vision to life, James needs to raise funds for materials and supplies.

- Financial Donations: Every dollar goes directly toward construction materials.
- Material Donations: If you have access to raw building materials (gravel, stone, pavers, etc.), please reach out!

Hi Everyone, 🎄 Help Our Scout Troop Make a Difference This Christmas! 🎄

Our Boy Scout Troop is organizing a Christmas Donation Drive for a local Foster Boys’ Home (ages 13-18), and we need YOUR support!
We are collecting new:

• Men’s clothing (Sizes S-XXL)
• Boys’ clothing (Sizes L-XXL)
• Sports equipment (basketballs, footballs, soccer balls, ping pong equipment)
• Board games & card games
• Art supplies
• Fishing poles
• And other fun items for active teens!

Summer Camp 2025
While some of our scouts are in South Dakota for summer camp, we had some of our younger scouts stay local and attend summer camp at George Strake Camp.

We hope both groups enjoy their time at camp and return home safely!

Your local Boy Scout Troop needs help. The wonderful church that has housed us for the past for about 5 years is growing and need the building we meet in. So we need help finding a weekly meeting location. If you are a church or business or city member that may be able to or know a place that might be able to help us please reach out to Troop 161.
