Like… who gave milk permission to taste this good?! 😂 We may have accidentally created a pumpkin spice situation, and honestly, we’re not mad about it.

Today on MY tray, I chose...

🥩 Tyson Foods Beef Steak Fingers — crispy, crunchy, and absolutely doing what they came to do.
🥔 Mashed Potatoes & Gravy — because gravy is basically a food group.
🫛 Seasoned Green Beans — keeping us responsible.
🍌 Banana — because balance. We’re all about balance. 😉
🥛 Hiland Pumpkin Spice Milk — the main character of this fall menu.

So yes… we decorated.
Yes… we got festive.
And YES… we are serving up pumpkin spice milk. 🎃😂

🫖💜 PINKIES UP, LITTLE WILDKATS! 💜🫖

Yesterday, we hosted our very first Willis ISD Child Nutrition "Tea" Party at Turner Elementary, and I’m pretty sure these second graders had just as much fun as we did! 😍

Thirteen students were chosen by their teachers and principal to join us for a morning filled with tea-party fun, good food, and a LOT of learning! 📚🥒🌱🍓

We had three hands-on learning stations where the students learned about everything from farm-to-table foods to how their food makes its way from seed to table.

Then it was time to put on our best tea-party manners, enjoy some healthy treats, and sit around the table together for some great conversation. 💜

Cucumber sandwiches, rainbow garden cups, berries and whole-grain tea party cakes…who knew learning could taste THIS good?! 🥒🥕🍓🫑 And the tea (aka, sparkling fruity water), was yummy, too!

A HUGE thank you to Mrs. Snow for allowing us to host this on your campus. And to our amazing second graders—thank you for bringing your smiles, your curiosity, and your personalities to our table!

I think the Willis ISD Child Nutrition Tea Party may just have to become a tradition. 🫖💜

Angel has been with Willis ISD for 21 YEARS!! 🙌🏼 That is something to celebrate!

Angel definitely brings the laughs to Child Nutrition! 😂 She keeps things lively, always brings her personality, and is such a joy to have on our team.

Thank you, Angel, for 21 years of hard work, dedication, and for always bringing the fun! We are so thankful for you and everything you do for our students and staff! ❤️

What better way to show some love for Hiland Milk? Send out the original milk makers! 😂 🐮 We were spreading a little milk love at Parmley Elementary this morning, and the students were EXCITED to see us!! The smiles, the laughs, and all the cow fun made for a moo-velous morning!!
So....which campus are we hitting next??? 👀 🐄

A HUGE shout-out to the hard-working Maintenance & Grounds guys at Willis ISD! 👏🏼💜🖤

You may not always see everything they do behind the scenes, but we sure do! From keeping our campuses running, fixing the things that inevitably break, and making sure our grounds look good—you guys are ALWAYS working!

We quite literally **CAN’T do our job without you!** 🙌🏼

Thank you for all the early mornings, long days, quick fixes, and everything in between. We appreciate you more than you know! 💜

Mondays are for MANAGER SHOUT-OUTS, and this week we are giving a BIG one to Connie Ingram, our Willis High School Manager! 💜🖤

Connie has been part of Willis ISD since 1998 — that’s 28 YEARS!! 🤯👏

She’s the original. The one who has seen it all, done it all, and has been holding it down at Willis High School for a LONG time! ❤️

We are SO lucky to have her, and we love her big! 💜
