🚨 TIME-SENSITIVE: BENJI NEEDS OUR HELP🚨
💔 Blind Senior Boy | MRI • Neurology • Medications • Ongoing Care

We are asking our Jake’s House of Animal Rescue family to please come together for our sweet Benji. This senior boy has already endured so much, and right now, he needs us more than ever. 🐾❤️

When Benji first came into our care, we discovered that he was battling high blood pressure, which had already caused devastating damage to his eyesight. Sadly, Benji has lost his vision. 💔

Then we noticed something else.

At first, Benji would spin in circles just a few times throughout the day. We hoped it might be temporary or simply part of adjusting to life without his sight.

But it didn’t stop.

The spinning became more frequent. Then more severe.

And now, Benji is spinning nearly 24 hours a day.

💔 Watching him struggle like this is heartbreaking.

Our veterinarian is deeply concerned and believes Benji urgently needs to see a veterinary neurologist. There are several possible causes. It could be something potentially treatable, such as an inner ear infection. It could be age-related. Or it could be something much more serious, such as a brain tumor or another neurological condition.

The only way we’re going to get the answers Benji desperately needs is through advanced diagnostics, including an MRI.

Until we know what’s happening, we don’t know how to make him feel better. We don’t know what treatment he may need. We don’t know if this constant spinning can be stopped.

But we DO know this:

🐾 Benji deserves answers.
🐾 Benji deserves comfort.
🐾 Benji deserves a chance.
🐾 And we are NOT giving up on him.

Our rescue will continue doing everything we can for this sweet boy, but the cost of his neurology consultation, MRI, medications, follow-up care, and whatever treatment he may need is far beyond what we can manage alone.
