Today is World Sickle Cell Anemia Awareness Day.

Sickle cell anemia is a genetic blood disorder that affects individuals every day, often causing severe pain, fatigue, swelling, and other health challenges. While symptoms may not always be visible, the impact is life-changing for those living with the disease.

At Camp Good Days, we are committed to providing children impacted by sickle cell anemia with the opportunity to simply be kids. Through our free programs, campers can build friendships, create lasting memories, and enjoy a week filled with fun, support, and adventure in a worry-free environment.

Today, we raise awareness, celebrate the resilience of those affected, and reaffirm our commitment to improving the lives of the children and families impacted.

Big plans are in the works for Jr. Good Days!

Our Leaders in Training aren’t just Campers anymore. They are planners, creators, and CAMP MAGIC makers.

This amazing group is helping design Jr. Good Days for our 4–7 year olds, and they’re making sure the next generation of Campers has the BEST summer ever.

Thank you Starpoint Middle School students! The funds raised will help kids facing cancer just be kids having fun making memories with friends, like we saw on Tuesday amongst all the students. Plus, an extra big thanks to the faculty and parents who supported their fundraising efforts and created one exciting event for these students to be motivated to participate in!

From hospital rooms to campfires, the same compassion follows our campers every step of the way. To our volunteer camp nurses and the nurses who care for our Campers in the hospital and clinic, we say thank you for being part of their story.
