Be Inspired! American News Broadcaster Walter Cronkite was a household name in the 60s and 70s. As a journalist, he covered historic events like the Battle of the Bulge and the Nuremberg Trials. In 1950, he joined CBS News, working his way up to the CBS Evening News, which he became famous for, even being named “the most trusted man in America.” Walter went on to inspire many journalists who have followed in his footsteps. Walter Cronkite passed away in 2009.
