Tracker is a tall, lanky, lovable hound mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. True to his breed, he loves to sniff, explore, and stay endlessly curious about the world around him. He’s silly, affectionate, and always happy to be near his people. Don’t let his size fool you. This 55-pound goofball is convinced he’s a lap dog!

Tracker is still a young dog and is working on basic commands like stay and down, along with good house manners. He’s eager to please and is making progress every day with consistency and patience.

He’s great on leash and enjoys walking right alongside you with plenty of sniff breaks. And the good news? He’s fully potty trained with no accidents in the house.

Tracker gets along well with other dogs but would do best in a home without cats. He does well with older kids, though his tall, clumsy frame and playful energy mean he’d be happiest with children who are comfortable around a big, energetic youngster. A fenced-in yard would be ideal so he can romp around and explore.

He’s a happy guy whose tail is always wagging, whether you’ve been gone five minutes or five hours. Tracker will thrive with a family who can offer structure, patience, and continued training, along with plenty of love.

Give him that, and you’ll have one goofy, affectionate, oversized companion who’s always thrilled to see you!

Friendly, outgoing, and full of love, Max is a 7-month-old pup with many of the traits of a true Blue Heeler! Known for their loyalty, intelligence, and playful energy, Heelers make wonderful companions, and Max is already showing us what makes them so special.

What stands out most about Max is his sweet, affectionate personality. He loves being loved on and is always happy to spend time with his people. When playing with his foster brother, Nemo, Max loves a good game of chase. But when Nemo catches him, Max rolls right over in sweet surrender! 🥰

Max is still learning about the world. He's working on leash walking, house rules, and good doggie manners. He's also excellent in his crate, both day and night, and will happily go in on his own. His crate is his safe place.

Max is a fun-loving, affectionate young guy who is learning more every day. With his friendly nature and eagerness to connect, it's easy to fall in love with Max! 💙🐶

We know SO many of you have been waiting for this moment, and we’re so excited to help these babies find their forever homes! But before you get too excited, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY 👇

🐾 YOU MUST BE PRE-APPROVED TO ATTEND. No exceptions!

🐾 FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED! These puppies will be available on a first come, first served basis.

🐾 YOU CAN ADOPT THE DAY OF! As long as you are already pre-approved, you can potentially leave with your newest family member!

🐾 Any puppies who are not adopted at the meet & greet will be posted through our normal adoption process.

If you're looking for a little pup with a big personality, look no further! Basil is a confident little man who isn't afraid to jump right in with the pack, big or small. This little guy is alwaysready to steal the show:

🐾 ...He's incredibly smart and picks up on things quickly. He's already impressing his foster family with his potty training skills and is learning other commands just as quickly. It helps that he's a clever little guy who knows there's usually a snack involved! 😆

🐾 ...He's a natural entertainer with a goofy side that keeps everyone laughing. Whether he's diving under chairs or confidently attempting to keep up with full-grown, large-breed dogs, Basil seems convinced that nothing is beyond his capabilities. 😂

🐾 ...He may try to give off an alpha vibe, but he's still just a little guy figuring out the world. When a child picks him up, he tolerates the embrace, showing a level of patience and self-control that's wonderful to see in such a young puppy. Of course, once he's free, he's ready to get back to the important business of playing!

And while Basil sounds like quite the little character, he is still a young puppy with plenty left to learn. Like all puppies, he'll need continued training, consistency, and routine to help him develop the skills he'll need to navigate the world as he grows. We're confident that with the right family, Basil will continue to build on his natural intelligence and confidence while bringing plenty of laughter and entertainment to his furever home. ❤️

What does his foster family love most about Basil? His intelligence! The speed at which he's picking up on potty training has left us absolutely jaw-dropped. We truly believe the sky is the limit for what this little guy can learn... as long as snacks are included, of course! 😆

Everyone meet Bonsai!
He is 10 weeks old so basically an infant who is just taking each day to learn about the world around him.

He is extremely friendly and likes all humans and dogs of all sizes. He will follow you everywhere you go, and is really good and almost tripping his humans as he winds between their feet.

He is crate trained, sleeping through the night, and sometimes even going in voluntarily to take a nap.
He is doing great with potty training on a schedule and has started to whine when he has to go out, but you only have a few seconds to act!

He loves being outside and thinks every leaf, stick and pine one is his favorite toy. He is playing inside independently but still needs to be watched as he is still learning what not to chew.

He is extremely food motivated and very smart so he should take well to training and learning the rules of his home.

I’m sweet, loyal, cuddly, playful, and just the right mix of silly puppy and snuggle bug. I’m looking for a family who will be patient while learn, available for lots of play time and give me all the love my little heart can handle.

We’ve got THREE new cuties who joined the NCCR family tonight!! 🐾💙❤️

These 3 babies made their way to safety from Texas, and they’ve got one thing in common… EARS AS BIG AS TEXAS!! 🤠👂🏼😂

We’re already obsessed with these sweet faces and can’t wait to watch them start their next chapters here in Buffalo!

A HUGE thank you to the three amazing foster homes who opened their hearts and homes to save these babes. You’re the reason we can keep saying YES to dogs in need! 🥹💙

Oh baby! Bella Donna is just an itty-bitty baby who will melt your heart. ❤️ She is doing great with potty training and will give you signs when she needs to go out. 🪧🔜 She’s a smarty-pants for how young she is! 🎓 She loves all people so much so that she really does not like to be alone at all. She will cry when you leave her in her crate and will take some time to settle down, but she does settle down and will sleep throughout the night. 💤💤 She keeps her crate clean and holds it until the morning which is also great for how young she is! 🍼 But she is a baby and will need frequent trips outside until she is fully potty trained. ✈️ She is happy to be your shadow everywhere you go! 👤 She loves other dogs 🐕 and is curious of cats, 🐈 but keeps her distance from her feline friends. She has not fully learned to run yet so she hops like a bunny, 🐇which is adorable! While she is so small right now, her foster parents have been bringing her all over town and she has been meeting lots and lots of people. 🧍‍♂️🧍‍♀️🧍She really wants nothing more than to be next to you all day long.

Triceratops definitely lives up to her silly name and is a ball of Dino-mite. She is very friendly with people and all the dog friends she has met. While she can be a bit crazy at times, she does love to cuddle and nap. She sleeps great throughout the night and wakes up ready to play again. She is working on not nibbling her playtime opponents.

Triceratops currently needs to be crated when home alone or not being watched as she will make a toy out of anything. She does whine initially but is able to settle herself down. As for real toys, she is a huge fan and will carry them around all day long. If you think you want Triceratops to join your family, apply today!

This petite young lady is full of personality and independence for her young age! She loves to nap on the dogs and humans in her life. When she wakes up, she'll call to be brought outside and potty. Then she is off to some exploring, sniffing around and making every twig and leaf she finds into a toy! She is slowly getting used to her crate: she will happily go in it to eat and likes to stuff it with toys. She will sometimes nap in it. So far the door has remained open, otherwise she gets real sad and cries. Bamboo is absolutely adorable and can't wait to meet her forever family!
