✨ Our inventory is low on some linen items, mainly in need of pillows and mattress pads at this time. While you’re out and about this weekend, or doing some online shopping, please consider a bedding linen donation for children in need. 🛏️

🔹 The bedding collection bin is accessible for linen donation drop off 24/7 outside of workshop located at 80 Earhart Dr Suite 20 in Williamsville.

🔹 If there are any organizations interested in holding a bed linen drive this upcoming holiday season (or any other time) please contact us and we can provide a collection bin for display at your location.

Thank you in advance for your consideration and helping support our mission, which not only provides beds for children but bedding linens too! 💙

✨ We’re celebrating another incredible milestone — our 8,000th bed has been delivered! 💙 🛏️

What started with a simple mission to make sure no child has to sleep on the floor has grown into 8,000 beds delivered to kids across our WNY community. And we couldn’t have done it without YOU!

💙 To our amazing volunteers who give their time, energy, and heart to build and deliver beds — thank you!

💙 To our generous donors and sponsors who make it possible for us to purchase the lumber, mattresses, bedding, and supplies needed to keep building — thank you!

💙 To our community partners, supporters, and everyone who has shared our mission— thank you for helping us reach more families and make a difference, one bed at a time!

Every bed represents more than wood, screws, and a mattress. It represents a safe place to sleep, a good night’s rest, and a bed of their own. 🛏️💙

8,000 beds. Thousands of kids. Countless volunteers and supporters. One incredible community.

And we’re not stopping here! 💪

Here’s to the next milestone and to continuing our mission:

💙 NO KID SLEEPS ON THE FLOOR IN OUR TOWN!

I met with Jerry Sheldon, President of Sleep in Heavenly Peace - NY, Buffalo, who gave me an incredible tour of the SHP workshop located right in Amherst.

This ALL VOLUNTEER operation is truly amazing as they have served thousands of families with children ages 3-17 all over WNY. Today they have built 8,194 beds and counting!

Their mission is "No kid sleeps on the floor in our town" and they achieve that mission daily by building beds from scratch and delivering and assembling them for the child with a mattress, linens, and pillows. 🛌💤

Visit their page for information on how to request a bed or sign up to volunteer to help the cause. New linens, mattresses and monetary donations are also appreciated as their organization is 100% volunteers and relies on community donations.

✨Another great delivery day for our Batavia hub volunteers! 💙🛏️

✨ Yesterday was a BIG day for SHP Buffalo! 🛏️💙

Our Buffalo chapter joined more than 250 Sleep in Heavenly Peace chapters across the country for Bunks Across America—and our volunteers showed up BIG! 🙌

From the workshop to the road, it was an incredible day of teamwork and giving back. While volunteers at the workshop worked together to build 22 beds, teams of volunteers were also out delivering beds to families in need throughout Buffalo and Batavia. 🚚🛏️

By the end of the day, an amazing 75 beds had been delivered to children who now have a safe, comfortable place to sleep. 💙

That’s 22 beds built and 75 beds delivered in ONE busy day! 🎉👏

Days like this are a perfect reminder of what can happen when a community comes together with a common goal. Every board cut, every bed assembled, every delivery made, and every volunteer hour helps us get one step closer to making sure no child has to sleep on the floor.

A HUGE thank you to every volunteer who spent their Saturday building, loading, delivering, organizing, lifting, driving, and lending a helping hand. Your time and hard work make all of this possible! 💙🙌

And thank you to everyone who continues to support SHP Buffalo throughout the year. Whether you volunteer, donate, provide supplies, or simply help spread the word—you are an important part of this mission. ❤️

Together, we’re building more than beds. We’re building hope, one bed at a time. 🛏️💙
