Meet July's Members of the Month. Jerry and Erica Williams, we like to say they are part of the "New Kids".
Jerry and Erica have loved the outdoors for years, bringing up their 2 boys camping and hiking.
Jerry's passion for motorcycling started when he was 15, with a Honda Shadow 500cc. He rode this bike for years until he met Erica and at that time riding 2 up was not her thing. The Shadow was left in the barn to gather dust and cobwebs for 20 years.
Ever in the back of his mind, Jerry made a deal with his dad. If his dad would clean it up and get it running again, Jerry and he could ride together again. The Shadow was soon followed by a Suzuki C50 Boulevard.
It's now August of 2022 and Erica gets "the itch", she and son Wyatt decided to take the take a Motorcycle Riding Course. After passing the course, Erica took Jerry's C50 Suzuki, packed it with camping gear and took off for the night. The hook was set, and upon returning from the camping trip she purchased a Suzuki Boulevard C50T she affectionally called, "Gertrude". Gertrude swerved Erica well until 2024 and Lagertha entered her life. Erica was now a proud owner of a Harley-Davidson Heritage.
Lagertha has taken Erica all over the country and she has seen amazing things, ate amazing food and met amazing people on her Harley-Davidson.
Erica convinced Jerry to check out the new Harleys, after all he could not be a member of the best motorcycle riding group in the Mid-Ohio Valley, unless he rode a Harley. Jerry settled on a 2024 Harley-Davidson Road Glide ST and he and Erica have been enjoying the Harley lifestyle ever since.
This couple has brought new life into the Borderline HOG and we appreciate their contributions and look forward to riding with thim in the future.
