A few belated photos from our wonderful All About Snakes event presented by Daniel Jonas and his assistants.

During this evening program we learned the ins and outs of our legless friends and why they are an important piece of the ecological puzzle. The Ohio River Islands National Wildlife Refuge is home to many snake species and each one has its part to play in keeping our ecosystem healthy!

Pictured is a Pueblan milk snake (Lampropeltis triangulum campbelli) named Tequila who participants had the pleasure of meeting after the presentation.
