Last night’s Annual Art & Writing Contest was a wonderful success! We are so proud of all the talented participants who shared their creativity and hard work with us. The level of effort and imagination on display made for an inspiring evening for everyone involved.

A special thank you to Grant County Farm Bureau Federation for graciously hosting us and helping make the event possible. We truly appreciate your continued support of our community and youth programs.

We would also like to give a big thank you to Grant County Agriculture Education/FFA Program - Mr. Messer's floral design class at Grant County High School, for creating the beautiful table centerpieces. Your creativity added such a special touch to the evening!

Congratulations to all of our participants and winners—we can’t wait to see what you create next year!

Time to begin control efforts for buttercup!

Buttercup is a cool-season w**d that thrives in overgrazed fields where forage is thin. While livestock generally avoid them, forced grazing can cause mouth and digestive irritation.

For more w**d management tips, contact your local county Extension office.
