Today, we join the nation in mourning the passing of The Honorable Rev. Jesse L. Jackson, Sr.

Rev. Jackson was a giant in the Civil Rights Movement and a fearless advocate for justice, economic empowerment, and political representation. From marching alongside Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to reminding us to “Keep Hope Alive,” his voice challenged America to live up to its promise.

He expanded the fight for equality beyond protest, into policy, opportunity, and global human rights, inspiring generations to believe that leadership at every level was possible.

We honor his life, his courage, and his unwavering commitment to our people.

May we continue the work. Rest in power, Rev. Jackson.
