Yesterday, I finished a book of Lamentations. Today, I begin the challenging book of Ezekiel. Even in a book filled with laments, we read these words: "Yet, I call this to mind and therefore I have hope, because of the LORD's goodness we are not consumed. His mercies are new every morning. Great, is His faithfulness."

Today, Noelle and I attended Knowle Parish Church. The building in 623 years old, their faith dates back to Moses and Jesus. Offering 4 worship services: 7:45 am Holy Communion, Prayers, & Scripture; 9:00 am Family Service - contemporary (w/ Holy Communion once a month); 11:15 am Traditional Angilcan with hymns, prayers, Scripture readings, an Anthem by the choir, and sermon ("How to Read & Understand the Bible" - tune into HJL-LIVE this Thursday), 6:30 pm Encounter - a young adult service. We attended the 11:15. Sometimes going back to the hymns, liturgy, and scriptures that gave us our roots is profoundly refreshing.

Whew! This has been a very full week. So many highlights, and this was one of them. Saturday we celebrated the life of a tall man: tall in character, tall as a husband, tall as father, tall as an uncle, tall as a sibling, tall as a basketball player, and tall as a Christian. Sixteen people received Christ. God was glorified & and EDWIN NATHANIEL GREEN was honored. TGBTG!
