Message from Chip Hamblin...

I have been a member of the Williamstown Fire Dept for 44 years. I have attended every Field Day since I joined and was Chairmen of the event for 25 years. Due to the Pandemic we were forced to cancel last year 2020, but we are able to have the event in 2021 on July 22,23,24. Our 75th anniversary parade will Thursday the 22nd at 7pm. For the first time since I have been a member the APW Marching Band will not be in attendance. I was told the reason is they cannot put a band together in such a short time. I was very disappointed when I was told this.

Thanks to everyone that worked so hard for our first fish fry ..and thanks to all who supported us! We appreciate it!..had a few first night mess ups...but hopefully everyone went away happy!

Just want to let all of you know that Grover’s Brother in Law Chuck Wheeler passed away and his funeral service is going to be at 12:30 Sunday at Foster Hax Funeral Home. Anyone wishing to attend can meet at the legion at 12 noon on Sunday and go as a group..or meet at the funeral home at 12:30...

We would urge you all to attend the Children’s Drive-thru Christmas Tree Lighting and Santa’s visit at the Williamstown Fire Dept..Sunday, November 29 meeting between 5-5:30.
