Join us at Martin Memorial Library for an all-day showing of the powerful documentary Juneteenth: Faith & Freedom.

This moving film explores the history and significance of Juneteenth, sharing powerful stories of resilience, faith, and the ongoing journey toward freedom in America.

🎬 The documentary will begin at 9:30 a.m. and will loop continuously until 5:30 p.m., so you can drop in anytime throughout the day.

Come spend a moment reflecting, learning, and honoring this important day in American history with your community.

This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Mark Daniel: DinoSquad, what an amazing experience it was!

He brought along all things prehistoric, giving our young explorers the opportunity to see, touch, and learn about a variety of fascinating fossils and dinosaurs. Participants examined ancient specimens up close and even used a microscope to investigate some of the smallest prehistoric treasures. It was a hands-on adventure filled with learning, discovery, and excitement! A huge thank you to Mark Daniel: DinoSquad for bringing the prehistoric world to life!

Looking for a cozy and creative way to spend your morning? Join us at Martin Memorial Library for Sit and Stitch, a welcoming gathering for anyone who enjoys fiber arts and handmade crafts! Bring your current project and relax while chatting with fellow makers in a friendly, laid-back atmosphere.

Whether you knit, crochet, embroider, cross stitch, or simply want to learn something new, all skill levels are welcome. Beginner materials for cross stitch and embroidery will be available, making this the perfect opportunity to try a new hobby, share ideas, and connect with others who love to create.
