If you thought summer was over, we have a few more memories to share!!☀️ Our summer schedule kept us on our toes, but we are excited to highlight these moments!!
From young chefs learning new recipes at Junior Cooking Camp, to learning the secrets of preservation at our Blueberry Jam Canning workshop, to cheering on Gracie Rogers at the NC State 4-H Horse Show our youth truly did it all!
Thank you to all the families and participants who made this summer so great and congratulations to Gracie!!🎉

Martin County 4-H and Beaufort County 4-H are excited to partner for this year's 4-H Poultry Chain & Show! Whether you're a returning exhibitor or participating for the first time, this is a great opportunity to learn about poultry, develop responsibility, and showcase your project.

Thank you for having us!!💚

☘️ We’d like to thank Lisa Smith and her team on presenting recently to our club. ☘️

Katie Harris, Martin County 4H Agent, spoke about the 50th Livestock show supported by Rotary, how they will be starting a livestock club, and shared about all their summer camps!

She also introduced Lacy, intern from NC State, that will be supporting programs this summer!

Lots to do and learn in Martin County!

Today our Little Chefs learned how to make their own veggie skewers, bagel pizzas, and berry parfaits! They also mastered the art of handwashing thanks to some cool Glo Germ science! 🧼
We wrapped up the day with a tour of the renovated Farmers Market, a round of Local Foods Bingo, and some playtime in the new Kids Corner. A special thank you to Ms. Jean for helping our cloverbud members become certified little chefs!!🍀

If you are in Williamston today, be sure to swing by Tractor Supply! Gracie Rogers is selling a variety of handmade goods until 2pm!! Gracie will be competing in the NC 4-H Horse Show and the money raised today will help fund her trip!💚
