Tonight we had our life groups students share verses, challenges, prayers and encouraging words by writing them on the walls of our youth room before it gets a new coat of paint tomorrow! 🙌🏼

The words of these students will forever be on the walls of this room ❤️🥹

School starts tomorrow… so tonight we’re covering our schools with encouragement, truth, and prayer. ✏️ Meet us at 6:30 PM as we go chalk our schools and remind students they’re seen, loved, and never alone. See you tonight!

The first day of school can bring excitement, nerves, and everything in between. This Wednesday during our normal meeting time (6:30–8:00 PM), we’ll be heading out to chalk local schools with encouraging messages and reminders of God’s love. Come help us remind all students that they are seen, valued, and created for a purpose. A few words of encouragement could be exactly what someone needs to read before walking through those doors on Thursday. 🩶❤️🤍

Wednesday night, as we were all missing you, we had a leader meeting preparing our hearts for this school year. We spent time praying, planning, and talking about the culture we want to create at YTH. Culture isn’t built by a stage or a building, it’s built by people. Every conversation, every welcome at the door, every small group, every act of kindness, and every moment we choose to point students to Jesus shapes the kind of culture we’re creating.

We want Calvary YTH to be a place where students feel seen, known, valued, and challenged to grow in their faith. A place where everyone belongs, where authenticity is celebrated, where the Gospel is central, and where students are encouraged to live boldly for Christ both inside and outside the church.

We can’t wait to see what God is going to do this year through our students, leaders, and church family. Thank you to every leader who gives their time, energy, and heart to pour into the next generation. The best is still ahead. ❤️
