This past Saturday, we got together with our Post for our annual Family & Friends event. It was a wonderful day of fellowship, laughter, and making memories. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it such a special day! Amvets post 227

Today, after our monthly meeting, we had the opportunity to serve at the Williamston House. It was a wonderful time of fellowship, working together, and giving back to our community.

This past weekend, we attended the AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary Department of North Carolina’s 52nd Annual Convention. Our Auxiliary was honored to receive the first-ever President’s Award, as well as 2nd Place in Scholarship and 3rd Place in Americanism.

We also had the privilege of meeting National Third Vice Commander Sheldon Hartsfield. It was a wonderful weekend of fellowship, recognition, and celebrating the accomplishments of auxiliaries across the state.

For the second year in a row, we were able to give back to seniors graduating from Martin County High School. We awarded 5 seniors each with a $500 scholarship.
