Otto Bookstore Art Contest Winners: The 15 winning artists have officially been chosen! Be sure to head over to Otto Bookstore starting in September to check out their incredible work—it will be on display for the entire month! 🎨📚

📸 We had an absolute blast with our photo booth! Everyone brought their brightest smiles and most creative poses with the fun dress-up props. 👑🤠
🧩 A huge shoutout and congratulations to our member Ryan, who placed the very last piece and officially finished his big puzzle after weeks of hard work and dedication! Fantastic job, Ryan! 👏🎉

🐾 Therapy Dog Visit: Join us next Wednesday, August 26 at 1:00 PM, for some sweet puppy cuddles and tail wags!

Deadline: Submissions are open until August 26.
Details: 15 artists will be chosen to have their artwork displayed at Otto’s Bookstore starting September 5!

Photo Booth Day August 19th (Next Week!)
Join us next week for fun with a Polaroid camera backdrop and props.
Take your photos home, or leave them at the center to display!

🙌 Join Our Team as a Volunteer! 🙌
PA-Connect Adaptive Activities Center is looking for enthusiastic, dependable volunteers to help support our programs and engage with our community!

Location: 202 E Third St, Williamsport, PA 17701 (Academy St Entrance)

When We Need You:
Day: Wednesdays
Time: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Flexible Hours: Any time you can spare is deeply appreciated—whether that’s 1 hour, 2 hours, or the whole day!

What You’ll Be Doing:
Assisting members with sign-ins and helping new members complete intake forms
Organizing center spaces and helping with general cleaning
Participating in activities, having fun, and engaging with our members

Volunteer Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be able to pass background checks and obtain required clearances
Dependable, helpful, and eager to have fun!

How to Apply:
All interested volunteers must complete a volunteer form at the center. You are welcome to stop by in person on Wednesdays during center hours!

🎉 What a fantastic day at PA-Connect Adaptive Activities Center! 🎉

We had an incredible time at our cookout today enjoying delicious food, sunshine, and great company! 🍔🌭☀️

A huge THANK YOU to New Covenant United Church of Christ for their generous donations! Thanks to your support, we were able to buy new camping chairs and a pop-up canopy canopy—they kept us comfortable and cool all afternoon! ⛺🪑❤️

Otto Book Store Art Feature (August): The Otto Book Store is inviting 15 artists to display their artwork! Each featured artist will have their work showcased alongside a photo and biography throughout the month of August, with winners announced in September! 🎨📸

Second Art Opportunity (November): Missed out or want another chance? A second art contest will take place in November so everyone gets an opportunity to participate and share their talent! 🖼️✨
