🏕️ Troop 38 had an incredible month of Scouting!

The Scouts kicked off the month with their Fall Court of Honor, where all of their hard work and accomplishments were recognized. 🎖️ With more than 70 merit badges and multiple rank advancements earned, there was plenty to celebrate! We are so proud of the time, effort, and dedication these Scouts continue to put into their Scouting journey.

Then it was off to the Fall Camporee at historic Antietam National Battlefield in Sharpsburg, MD, and Harper’s Ferry, WV! 🇺🇸

The Scouts took on a 10-mile hike, explored important historical sites and monuments, and learned about the people and events that shaped our nation's history. It was a weekend filled with hiking, learning, teamwork, and plenty of adventure!

🏹 Troop 38 Kicked Off Archery Month! 🏹

Troop 38 kicked off Archery Month at Lycoming Archery! The Scouts spent the evening learning all about bow safety, the different parts of a bow, how to properly string a bow, and even got the chance to try their hand at getting an arrow in the target! 🎯

A huge thank you to all of the staff at Lycoming Archery who assisted our Scouts and took time out of their evening to provide them with such an exciting and memorable opportunity. We truly appreciate your time, knowledge, and support!

July was Resident Camp for Troop 38 at Camp Karoondinha! ⛺

Scouts had an amazing week filled with learning, teamwork, and adventure. They earned merit badges, practiced lashings and knots, and built some impressive camp gadgets — including this awesome bridge!

Throughout the week, Scouts also worked on rank requirements and had the opportunity to attend the Order of the Arrow Ceremony.

A fantastic week of Scouting memories for everyone! ⚜️

Tonight was the Spring Court of Honor for Troop 38. We celebrated the hard work of the scouts over the past several months and recognized the merit badges and rank advancements they earned along the way.

Afterward, we enjoyed fellowship, food, and time together as a troop family. Congratulations to all of the scouts on their accomplishments, and thank you to the leaders, parents, and supporters who continue to encourage them on their journey toward Eagle Scout!
